Local door drop
Since launching over 25 years ago, Over the Wall Camp has helped 1000s of seriously-ill children enjoy medically-supervised play across the UK. Now its first ever permanent site will be in rural Derbyshire, welcoming children from East Midlands and across the UK.

To do this, the charity is transforming a much-loved old school building in Ockbrook into a fully fledged camp. Tapping into the huge local affection for the school – which was one of the oldest boarding schools in the UK – we themed the doordrop around ‘old school’ fun, knowing in advance that the doordrop would also be distributed to former alumni.

The theme of ‘old school’ stretched to the history of the charity, founded by ‘old school’ Hollywood legend Paul Newman, and 'old school' activities like archery, climbing and arts & crafts that get children away from their phones, making new friends, and memories to last a lifetime.

We all know how tough the fundraising environment is right now, so we threw a lot of 'old school' technique at this doodrop. Eye contact. Bold design. Lots of CTAs. Need. Inspiration. Heart. An exclusive invite to incentivise the gift. And of course a clear deadline.
